Documents Required for Embassy Verification

**Visa approval for Germany heavily depends on proper and complete document verification. Missing or improperly prepared paperwork can lead to delays or even visa rejection. To ensure a smooth process, it is crucial to prepare all required documents meticulously before visiting the embassy. The following checklist outlines the essential paperwork every applicant must arrange before departure.

Content:

Original Degree and Transcripts
Ensure you carry your original academic degrees and transcripts. These documents confirm your educational qualifications and are often required for recognition by German authorities or universities. Make multiple copies, as some institutions may request additional sets.

Passport and Valid Copies
A valid passport is mandatory, with at least six months’ validity beyond your planned stay. Include several clear copies of the passport’s information page. Check that your passport has blank pages for visa stamping.

Work Experience Letters and Appointment Letters
If you have professional experience, include all work experience letters and appointment letters from previous employers. These documents serve as proof of employment and professional background, which may support your visa application for work or study purposes.

Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)

A PCC is required to confirm that you have no criminal record. Obtain this certificate from your local police authority and ensure it is recent (usually not older than six months).
